1. Scope and our roles
This Privacy Policy applies to Linkd services operated by Code Wize Technologies LLC ("Linkd," "we," "us," or "our"). It covers account holders, workspace members, visitors to Linkd-hosted or custom-domain pages, people who submit lead forms, and people who submit abuse reports.
For account, billing, security, support, abuse, and Linkd's own analytics data, Linkd determines why and how information is processed. For information submitted through a customer's lead form, the page owner generally determines the purpose and fields collected, and Linkd processes that information to provide the Service. Questions about how a page owner uses a lead should first be directed to that page owner.
2. Information we collect
Account and workspace information
We collect names, email addresses, password hashes, email-verification status, authentication and session records, passkey information, two-factor authentication configuration, recovery-code data, workspace membership, roles, invitations, account preferences, self-reported discovery source, and limited first-touch attribution such as UTM values, referring URL, and initial landing URL.
Page and content information
We store page names, handles, biographies, keywords, avatars, background images, logos or favicons, links, social profiles, embeds, contact settings, design choices, custom-domain configuration and verification records, white-label settings, lead-form configuration, and other content you choose to publish or manage.
Billing information
Stripe processes payment-card and checkout information. Linkd receives and stores billing-related records such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, billing status, payment method type, last four digits, trial dates, and transaction or webhook status. We do not store full payment-card numbers in the Linkd application.
Page-view and click analytics
When someone visits a public page or follows a tracked link or social item, Linkd may record the page or item, date, referring domain, inbound or click event, country, region, city, browser, operating system, device type, and aggregate count. We create a pseudonymous visitor identifier by hashing the visitor's IP address together with the user agent using an application secret; the raw IP address is not stored in the Linkd analytics record.
Lead submissions
A page owner may configure a form to collect a submitter's name, email, phone number, message, and consent confirmation. We may also store attribution details such as a pseudonymous visitor identifier, referrer, UTM source, medium, campaign, term, or content, along with the submitting IP address, user agent, page, and submission time. The exact fields depend on the page owner's settings.
Abuse reports and support records
Abuse reports include the reporter's name if provided, email address, reported URL, category, description, IP address, user agent, submission time, status, and internal review notes. Support and administration records may include messages, account notes, restriction reasons, impersonation reasons, migration-assistance URLs and notes, audit history, bulk-announcement content, recipient snapshots, delivery status or errors, and technical context needed to investigate or assist.
Device, session, and log information
Our application and infrastructure may process IP addresses, user agents, cookies, session identifiers, request paths, timestamps, errors, queue or performance data, and security events. We also use honeypots and rate-limit records to identify automated or abusive submissions.
3. How we receive information
- Directly from account holders, workspace members, lead submitters, and abuse reporters.
- Automatically from browsers, devices, public-page requests, cookies, and infrastructure headers.
- From workspace owners or administrators who invite users, manage pages, or contact support.
- From Stripe regarding customers, subscriptions, payment status, and billing events.
- From domain, DNS, email, hosting, security, monitoring, and other service providers used to operate Linkd.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create accounts, authenticate users, secure sessions, and manage workspaces and permissions.
- Host, render, route, and customize public pages, QR codes, contact files, custom domains, links, embeds, and white-label features.
- Receive, store, display, export, and deliver lead submissions according to a page owner's configuration.
- Measure page views and clicks, provide analytics and reports, prevent duplicate or automated events, and improve performance.
- Process subscriptions, synchronize billing records, provide the billing portal, and enforce plan entitlements.
- Send transactional, verification, invitation, billing, security, support, policy, service, and product-update communications to account holders and workspace owners.
- Investigate abuse reports, fraud, security incidents, policy violations, and legal requests.
- Maintain audit logs, troubleshoot errors, protect the Service, and prevent misuse.
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. Lead-form data and customer-configured webhooks
Lead submissions are made available to authorized members of the workspace that owns the page. If the page owner enables a CRM webhook on an eligible plan, Linkd sends the lead identifier, page handle, submitted fields, consent status, attribution data, and submission time to the URL configured by that owner.
A customer-configured webhook is a separate recipient selected by the page owner. Linkd does not control that recipient's security, retention, or later use of the data. Before submitting a lead form, review the page's wording and contact the page owner if you have questions about its practices.
6. Optional customer analytics
Eligible page owners may configure a Google Analytics measurement identifier or Fathom site identifier. When enabled, the public page loads that provider's script and data may be sent directly from the visitor's browser to the selected provider. The page owner controls whether this integration is enabled and is responsible for any required notice or consent.
7. How we disclose information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Workspace users: to owners, administrators, and authorized members who manage the relevant workspace, page, billing, or leads.
- Service providers: to providers that support hosting, storage, content delivery, DNS or domain routing, email delivery, payments, customer support, logging, monitoring, security, and similar operations.
- Customer-selected services: to webhook destinations, Google Analytics, Fathom, embedded services, links, or other integrations configured by a page owner.
- Legal and safety: when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, court order, or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, visitors, or the public.
- Business transactions: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction or consent: when you ask us to disclose information or clearly authorize the disclosure.
Linkd does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Customer-configured analytics and links may independently process data under their own policies.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Linkd uses cookies and comparable browser storage that are necessary for login sessions, security, CSRF protection, preferences, and Livewire interactions. Public-page analytics generated by Linkd uses a pseudonymous hash derived from IP address and user agent rather than a Linkd advertising cookie.
Optional Google Analytics, Fathom, embedded media, or linked third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but some account and dashboard features may stop working.
9. Retention
We retain account, workspace, page, lead, analytics, billing, abuse, support, and audit information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Different records have different retention periods.
Deleting an account, page, lead, or workspace removes or schedules removal of associated data from active systems, subject to team ownership, billing records, legal holds, fraud prevention, audit integrity, and backup cycles. Data sent to a customer-configured webhook, analytics provider, linked site, or other third party must be deleted through that recipient.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we process, including access controls, password hashing, encryption features, secure session handling, rate limiting, audit records, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your credentials, limiting workspace access, securing webhook destinations and custom domains, and avoiding sensitive data in page content or lead forms. Contact us promptly at hello@linkd.page if you suspect unauthorized access.
11. Your choices and privacy rights
Account holders can update profile and workspace information, change security settings, manage page content, export eligible lead or analytics information, delete leads, cancel subscriptions, and delete accounts or workspaces through available controls.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about disclosures of personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a privacy regulator. We will honor rights required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity and authority.
Send privacy requests to hello@linkd.page. Identify the account email, page, lead submission, or abuse report involved and describe the request. For lead data controlled by a page owner, we may direct the request to that owner or assist the owner in responding.
12. International processing
Linkd and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Children
Linkd is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts or knowingly submit personal information to Linkd. Account holders must be at least 18. Page owners may not use Linkd to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

14. Third-party content and services
Public pages can link to or embed third-party websites, social networks, videos, forms, stores, and other services. Linkd does not control their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third party before providing information or interacting with it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Linkd changes or as legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material and notice is appropriate.
